Turmeric very good for the health. The curcumin contained in the golden root helps reducing inflammation and with the prevention and treating some diseases.
Cinnamon in your tea also will boost the immune system. The cinnamon will bring you antiviral, antifungal, and antiseptic effects when added to your beverages. It is important to mention that this aromatic spice can boost your brain function. Just to remind you that the tolerable daily intake of coumarin contained in cinnamon is approximately 0.05 mg/pound (0.1mg/kg) of body weight or 5 mg per day for 130-pound (59 kg) person. This means that just 1 teaspoon of mostly used Ceylon Cinnamon could put you over the daily limit. So be careful with the usage and dozing of it.

1 inch /2.5 cm/ cinnamon stick or (1/2 tsp cinnamon powder)
2 cm turmeric piece, grated or 1/2 tsp dry turmeric powder
2 tsp pine honey or as desired
METOD
Fill a pot with the water and the cinnamon stick in. Bring the pot to a slow boil.
When the water is boiled add the other ingredients in. Let everything boil for a couple of minutes /maximum 5 minutes is enough/.
Remove from the heat and allow the tea to steep under lid for approximately 5 minutes.
Strain the liquid through a fine sieve to remove any clumps into a mug. If it's not as hot as you'd like, reheat it. Cinnamon is naturally sweet, so you may not need to add any sweetener but if you prefer a little more tasty flavor add some pine honey into your tea for better effect. Serve and enjoy your drink!
